Joanne Andershonis-Reich Research Award

The Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership within the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions is proud to sponsor a doctoral student research award in the memory of Joanne Andershonis-Reich. Reflection and scholarly inquiry informed the excellent leadership practice of Dr. Reich, who received her Doctorate in Educational Leadership posthumously in 2004. This Endowment is intended to assist with the funding of graduate dissertation work in the Doctoral Program of Educational Leadership.

Nominees must be individuals who have successfully defended their dissertation proposal and are actively pursuing their research. The research must have the potential to improve the practice of educational leadership. Candidates for the award must be nominated by the educational leadership faculty. Decisions will be made by the faculty as a whole. Procedures for nominations and selections are the responsibility of the faculty in the Department of Leadership. This grant award requires the recipient to provide a financial report to the Financial Manager of this fund.
