Mrs. "M" (Amelia Balcezak Mogielnicki) First Generation Scholarship

• A returning student (sophomore, junior or senior) who is in good academic standing
• Demonstrated need of financial assistance and/or has family circumstances such that he/she would not be able to complete a University of Hartford education without financial support
• Preference for a first generation student of higher education and/or from single-parent family
• Preference for a student who has encountered financial hardship since enrolling in the University and whose future education is in jeopardy
• This scholarship may be renewed by the same recipient in subsequent years if all criteria continue to be met
