Studying civil engineering or engineering with a concentration in construction
Should exhibit strong academic performance (a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0)
Should be active in student organizations and campus affairs
Demonstrated financial need as established by the University’s Office of Financial Assistance through the normal FAFSA (financial aid form) evaluation process
Must maintain full-time status for an entire semester to receive the scholarship for that semester
Applications will be solicited from the full-time sophomore civil engineering class shortly after the start of the spring semester
First priority will be given to Hartford Half Tuition students and second priority will be given to students whose homes are in Connecticut
