Savin Scholarship for Civil Engineering Students

• Studying civil engineering or engineering with a concentration in construction
• Should exhibit strong academic performance (a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0)
• Should be active in student organizations and campus affairs
• Demonstrated financial need as established by the University’s Office of Financial Assistance through the normal FAFSA (financial aid form) evaluation process
• Must maintain full-time status for an entire semester to receive the scholarship for that semester
• Applications will be solicited from the full-time sophomore civil engineering class shortly after the start of the spring semester
• First priority will be given to Hartford Half Tuition students and second priority will be given to students whose homes are in Connecticut
